Water Supply Pipe Risk Assessment
Our experienced teams can prepare Preliminary Site Assessment desk study Reports (PSAR) to assist you in determining the water supply pipe material requirements for your site set out in accordance with the UKWIR document "Guidance for the Selection of Water Supply Pipes to be used in Brownfield Sites" or other water company specific guidance.
The (PSAR) will include a review of historical maps, geological and environmental data and a walkover survey to produce a ‘conceptual site model’ (CSM) of any potential sources of contamination that may pose a risk to water supply pipes.
We also can prepare Site Assessment Reports (SAR) based on intrusive ground investigation and laboratory test data. The laboratory test results are compared to the UKWIR or water company specific threshold levels.
